This track is very different to Drip Fed Empire’s typical aggressive metal meets rave style sound. Although this is a departure from their typical vibe the combination of electronic parts mixed with heavy guitars and vocals is still as prominent as ever.

This song draws lyrically on one of the toughest mental struggles our vocalist went through a few years ago and is an open letter about what that journey was like. Feelings of depression, isolation & the uncertainties that life throws at you.

How you can feel so alone and empty even when things seem to be going well on the surface you’re surrounded by those who love you. Lingering and intrusive thoughts run deep. Going to bed and waking up with the same loud thoughts screaming at you in your own head day in and day out and for years, your worries bleed into your dreams and it's an endless swirl of anxiety and depression that never seems to end.

The song also follows on from systemreset where the protagonist or listener lives in a world where they simply just want to escape. It comments on everyday responsibilities we all feel with commitments to relationships, jobs, family and how bad our mental health can easily get. Many times we all just want to get away from everything. The duality within all these mixed emotions and feelings and the struggle we go through until it gets too much and then the cycle repeats.
