about

This track name is a reference to an earlier single released on our last EP called MK3 and it is a follow on track lyrically and sonic-ally to this previous release. Lyrically this song comments on the state of the political powers that be, here in the U.K and is essentially an uprising anthem against those who don’t have the people's best interest in mind.

The fast paced tempo and aggressive vocals represent the chaos of a revolution and the Jungle Breaks and Drum & Bass style verses are a wink to the U.K rave where this story takes place. These are then combined with hardcore punk riffs and some Djent style grooves and even a turntable part.

lyrics

They can see the righteous path to take
Spit it out and throw back into our face
Oh, for fucks sake now's our chance to make 'em shake
Break back this is a fact it's not too late.

Now the kind of the pride so soon to subside
A change in the tide to this state of mind
They lied tried to hide the truth from prying eye
This is the end we're your demise.

The part of the brain that
Says there's something wrong with
The world that we live in
It's fucking telling you

It just isn't right now
Is there nothing we can
To change how we see things
Lets see what today brings

Pre Chorus

I can be the way home for the rest
In a heart beat we must change it's for the best
I once had pride with my hand upon my chest
Don't rest, Fuck the rest.

If we stand alone we won't make a dent
In the shield they hold to hide the wounds that they kept
Keeping secrets so long as they slept
and kept their lies well swept, out of our cross-hairs

If we stand together
We can make a change
If we make a change
For a brighter future

The only way to stop this kind of oppression is to stand with your brothers and sisters through it all
Make your own choices and think for yourself before everything you know and love will be gone

Pre Chorus

I can be the way home for the rest
In a heart beat we must change it's for the best
I once had pride with my hand upon my chest
Don't rest, Fuck the rest.
